DARK TEA - AGED PU'ERH
Pu-erh is a traditional and complex tea from the Yunnan province. This refined 2010 aged Pu’er was processed according to the wet piling technic. During the accelerated fermentation process microbes cause a reaction that give the tea its strong earthy, animal and fishy flavor. Brewed, this 2010 Pu-erh produces a full-bodied, dark-brown-red, liquor.
Flavor and Aroma: The scent that unfolds in your cup is strong, soft and harmonious: woodsy, fruity, with spicy (clove) and of and liquorice-like hints. This aged pu’er tea is rich, smooth and without bitterness. The woodsy flavors mix and give way to others, sweet (sugarcane), fruity, and spicy. The lingering aftertaste is almost like chocolate.
How many times can you brew this 2010 Aged Pu-erh tea? You can re-steep the leaves 5-6 times, though you have to increase the steeping time for each infusion.
When to drink Aged Pu-erh Tea? A cup of Pu’erh after a meal can allow you to benefit from the teas digestive and detoxifying properties.
